sorry for crappy phone pics from far away it's hard to see how it turned out.

Looks nice I think I need to re-do mine.

Yesterday I installed my GTSpec V-Brace and re-installed my GTSpec Rear Tie Brace and Hotchkis Rear Sway. :)

laraw....your pictures make everything look better than they actually are, not saying that the gtspec braces look bad but your pics add a sort of otherworldy look to our cars.

I'm suprised you want the rear end so stiff. The car 3-wheels and off-throttle oversteers stock.

I had the entire GTSpec line up, Hotchkis sways and coilovers on my old sedan. Needless to say my Speed3 does not impress me in the handling department so far (in comparison). My H&R coils will be here in two weeks and I'll install them then along with the Hotchkis FSB. ^_^ I cannot wait.

Haha, thank you. ^_^

...you're assuming that all of that stuff actually stiffens things by a measurable amount back there... ;)

It sure looks pretty though, doesn't it?

Actually, once you do get the entire brace setup, sway bars and coils it does stiffen a measurable amount. The braces individually don't do too much unless you have quite a few/all of them. :) And it sure does look pretty!

this HD lip i dont understand it? does it come like all made up? might sound dumb or prob does always thought u had to mold it and thought that was fuking hard. Or does it come like all together and u just like attach it?

Well it's like soft rubber so as soon you put the 2 sided m3 tape. You slowly peel it away as you stick it to the bumper it modls itself when you are doing that other then that it's pretty simple. Just make sure you wash that area good so the tape will stick well.

As long as you understand that the vast majority of the "stiffening" comes from the two bolded componenets above, I'm perfectly fine with that statement... :)

A bit of both. Some of the braces replace stock pieces and some of them are add-ons.

ie:
The Link Reinforcement Panel replaces the stock panel
The V-Braces are two add-ons
The Rear Tie Brace is an add-on

Etc. etc. :)

Yes, thank you. :) I'm not a n00b when it comes to suspension.

Never said you were....Unfortunately, there are still plenty of people who consider themselves "well-versed" that buy into a lot of hyped up marketing when it comes to suspension/chassis modifications.

I just want people to understand that those braces (as used on the MS3) are more "something pretty to look at" than they are "somethin' that's gonna make my car handle like it's on railzzz, yo!"

;)
