Has anyone ever wondered whats inside our keyless fobs?

A mitsubishi part # !!!

I've never seen a thinner PCB. I has to be about the thickness of a few pieces of paper.

Given this is a mitsubishi part # my thought is that this part is likely shared among other vehicles. Maybe even some Mitsubishis. I know the RX8 also has a keyless fob, and has a Mitsubishi part #, but it is slightly different.

I've tried googling the above number and nothing comes up. I will research with Mitsubishi directly next.

Mitsubishi has been involved in electronic manufacturing for a number of years. Just because the board is labeled with 3 diamonds, doesn't mean it'll work with any of their cars, but who knows. It's definitely a compact PCB.
