I also had a hard time getting in the B&M, upper o-ring finally got shaved after an hour of trying countless ways to get the assembly to go down. But it was worth the effort.
Since the Kartboy is made of a welded tubular assembly vs solid Stainless on the B&M, is it as strong (the feel I mean)?

Oh yeah. It is based on the same design we have in the cars now. And since is seems more preasure is needed to shift, i believe that some flex would be evident.

FYI is our shifter is solid not Tubular (dude) the lower bushing is tig welded on there.(by me Aerospace fabricator by trade)
