You know the box under the front seats that connects to the connecters on the seats. I forgot where the middle one goes??? Theres two that are exactly the same and have wires in there, so im not sure which one would have connected it. I'm assuming I may be able to tell when I put seat back which is which by checking the seatbelt light and airbag light and such. But does anyone know for sure?

Also when I went to put Driver Door Panel on there was a wire connector up by sail panel that there was nowhere to connect it to, is that supposed to stay disconnected, I have a feeling it is for heated mirror???? Its about a 6inch wire with connecter, but there was no way to reach anywhere near any connecters, i just zip tied it up??

Thanks in Advance,
Tom

Anyone? planning on putting the seats back in tomorrow and need to know?
Tom

Haven't done the seats, but I'm pretty sure I remember a loose wire in the door like you described. I figured it was for some option in the GT.

The Bose systems has a tweeter in the sail-panel, gray & black wire as I recall, maybe that's what you're seeing?

1st pic is under the drivers seat from behind, 2nd pic is passenger seat from behind. I wish I could get better pics but I couldn't get the connector loose from the seat to get it lower to take better pic's.

Thanks, Real Deal, that does help, now if I could get u to do the other seat, I'll be perfect. In the pic its hard to see but on my drivers seat I have three plugs coming out of bottom of it. on the box in the pic it looks like _-- those have plugs in em. That wire in the door, I'm forgetting about(Everything in Door panel works windows, locks, morrors??, I wired new tweets so it wasn't for them, my only guess is heated mirrors???

if _-- didn't make sense, all the top row would be --- from the perspective of your picture, im just making this more confusing..LOL

Thanks again for your help.

Updated the pics in the original reply, it's just hard to get them with the seat in place. The driver's side is like this (where _ is empty & - is populated):

top _--
btm -__

Thanks again RealDefman, it will help allot. Been crazy rain all day, didn't get to put em in yet though, ill let you know how it goes. I'm also gonna do a write-up on my install.

Got it, seats are in, last question, Anyone know the torque specs for the seat bolts?
bolts are clamping devices.
by "tightening" them you are stretching a piece of steel and using its elasticity to "clamp" the parts together. for places where it matters IE con rod caps; you measure the OAL of a bolt and tighten it until it is "x" thousandths longer, thus stretched correctly. this is a pain in the ass and impractical for a blind hole
a torque spec is a sloppy way of ensuring the correct stretch. SAE tables were created assuming an oiled thread to correlate a twisting force to a stretching force.

long story short,.... its a seat

or wrist for 10mm
forearm for 12-14mm
arm 17-19,
and ****** tight above that

Close enough?
