ok i just got my turbo to innercooler pipe today with the greddy type-s bov flange WOW what a diffrence that BOV blew off my hat lol when i tested it by using the throddle and it is really high pitched so if you want just that pipe go to spool
and check them out..
its not recirculated and yea it stalls i had to tighen up the BOV until it dident stall and i dident pay 400 for 1 pipe.
lol that bubba rub is a classic. whoo whoo......
also, im not clear as to why tightening the BOV would stop it from stalling? I thought it stalled because air was being blown off to atmosphere and thus "missing" from the intake in the eyes of the ECU which means there was not enough air in the cylinder to account for all the fuel so it was too rich and stalled? How does tightening the BOV remedy this?
im interested to hear cuz i would like a BOV but have heard that stalling is inevitable...
Tightening it down more means less air is being let off into the atmosphere. And yes you can tighten it down for the same effect essentially as having it wide open and recirculating.
I chose to recirculate mine after having more of a problem in bumper to bumper traffic then anything else. It was not fun and it is something that I deal with every day.
It is all up to a person's preference.
Stalling is not necessarily inevitable. It is either you modify your driving style to not stall or you recirculate. Some people have a better time at it then others.
Like I said I had gotten the hang of it, except during grid lock.
if you get a BOV and recirculate it....do you still get the "cool" BOV sound? does it work perfect as if it was a BPV or what?
Adjusting my driving style to accomodate a toy that i want for my car is not an option. I drive in stop and go traffic on my commute also and even if I didnt, I dont want to worry about my car stalling no matter how dumb im driving,.
