This is what's starting to happen to my 2008 CX-9, after few months of using it (see attached picture).
The silver window molding was replaced but just on the front passenger side door only a month after I got my CX-9.
Should we as consumer voice it out to Mazda that we love their car but don't abuse us by doing unprofessional job like this. I'm not a professional in terms of car body paint but I think it is stupid to paint a chrome and expect it to last for years.
The plastic silver on the door handle are very poor quality too, they scratch so easily. I'm actually thinking of repainting them using Plastic Paint that you can buy from hobby shops, maybe it will last longer.
For the chrome that is starting to surface I think I can't do anything about it but take it back to dealership and hope that they will fix it.
Anyone got same problem?
