Medievel motor mount

Does anyone here have the Medievel passenger side mount and, if so, does it line up correctly? I put mine in last week and it's definitely not a perfect fit. the inserts are forced at a slight angle. It seems to be holding up so far, but I'd feel a lot better if it lined up correctly.

hey throw up a pic or two of it....are you sure all the other mounts are good and not gone....if another mount is gone it could be causing the bad angle

I'll get a pic as soon as I can. I've replaced all but the rear mount, and it doesn't seem to be torn at all.

that's really weird though....i mean i don't know how many threads i've read about the Medieval mounts but not once have ever seen this one.....i've read 'em cause that's what i'm gonna go with eventually...the full set

edit: all the other mounts are good?? one being off but looking good would throw it all outta wack??? my .02

throw up some pics and i'm sure someone will chime in with a nickle worth of smarts......i'm kinda curious cause i'll be going with those mounts soon hopefully

Here's a few pics. It doesn't look like much, but if you look closely, you can see the angle that the inserts and insert bolt are at.

Well, the pics didn't work. Let me try that again.

yeah dude....i would say something is not right.....but for it to be one mount outta XXXXX yeah dude....something is def tweaked in there

edit...if you have access to an engine hoist or something to support the motor, support it, loosen up all the mounts and then see if it will straighten out. you might also be able to find out whats off this way.....best bet would be with a hoist or something to hold from above so you can get in level

This mount was the first one I changed out, so it should have been straight from the beginning if the mount was made correctly, but that's not the case.

i musta been thinking of someone else who said all others were replaced??? that's a new one on me and i think i've combed all the mount threads....somethiong is off.....when ever DS motorsports gets on i bet he'll look and offer his oppinon...where you get the mount from???

My bad, I meant I replaced this mount, and then replaced the front, then the tranny, in succession. I never took more than one mount off at a time.

try what i said to see if it all would line up....something is off and causing it to go out

lol sorry, mounts can be a pain, but I mean it should fit. Thats what it was built for so it should just do it. Sometimes it takes some odd jack placements to get the engine in the just right spot. For my front one I had to loosen the rear to get them to line up.

The only advice is just keep playing with it.
