I got a Scan Guage II for my wife's P5 but I can't find a good place for it. Can those who have them post where they put it in their car?

thats really the best place for it, unless you just wanna tape it up to your dash which will look ugly and youll have a nice wire strung across your dash.

just picked one up last night...it looks like a cool little gadget. i bought it mostly to replace my hand held code reader. i have this cel that comes up once or twice a yr (transmission range sensor) and it sends my auto tranny into limp mode...this will allow me to clear the code right from the drivers seat and be on my way. i'm not sure it's worth what i paid...?

I cut my top steering column cover and wedged my plx wideband (nearly the same size) just under the cluster. Steering column cover is like $15 to replace.

when i get one it is going all the way to the left in the gauge cluster, i really dont want it blocking the odometer incase i need to look at it on the go and what not, plus its a lot more "stealth" there I would think so people looking in wouldnt be tempted to break my window to rip it out which would be my biggest concern.

does anyone know if you can switch a setting to km/h for us canadians or is that a whole diff unit... Just saw these tonight and i'm very interested in one

Does the ScanGauge II support metric units?
Yes, the units of measure can be independently selected between Miles/Km, Gallons/Liters, Celcius/Fahrenheit, and PSI/KPA.
If you choose Km and Liters, fuel economy is reported as liters/100Km (LHK).
If you use Imperial Gallons when you do the calibration, fuel will then be adjusted to use Imperial Gallons.
