heh. My first idea was the polar opposite of that shot.
It's too bad the window cleaners haven't come by yet--this morning was perfect...

I'll have to jump in the car and see if road construction has taken away the opportunity at my other idea

That pictured of Boston is pretty sweet! I'm going on a fishing trip Sunday-Wednesday so I should be able to get some nice shots.

i will throw my hat into the ring been meaning to since i joined this site, been using my D40 for a year now and still learning alot...

taken out in my backyard, we live behind a Hindu temple always makes for a surreal view....

^I hate that park...

Anyways, didn't get any good pictures while on my fishing trip so I think I'll skip this one.

Am I the only one here understanding what "no foreground" means or am I the only one mistaken?

dont you need something in the foreground to anchor the photo? anyway if mine does not work then feel free to remove it.

I think all the submissions so far have captured the theme to varying degrees--I don't feel a need to DQ any in that regard, so we'll let the judges decide next week...

Oh I wasnt saying anyone should be DQ'ed or remove there photos, there all really nice shots, I was just saying Im finding it hard to get exactly what your looking for and keep it a composed photo at the same time. I could have taken pics out on the water these past few days with no foreground but they were just plain and boring.
