Well I'm wimping out on the AWRs for now. Since I bought the car with them, I'm trying to verify the correct orientation of the stock front mount. The meat of the rubber is at a diagonal, so there must be a right & wrong way. In the picture, there is an "A" on the lower place where the center rubber meets the bracket - on the left in the pic (It also has a big tab sticking out on that side.) My intuition is the "A" goes toward the front?

Well I threw it on there today and am now 90% sure my initial hunch was right. First, in the online service manual, there is a sketch of it that looks oriented that way. Then installing it I realized that you would have to bend the big rubber tab if toward the engine because the bracket would be on top of the tab; that would seem to be why they put the tab on there - so you put it in right. Car runs fine, so unless I hear differently, that's how it goes.
