(rockon) Hello all! This is the best forum I have seen for my car...--pulls up chair and gets ready to learn-- I have a 2003.5 silver Protege 5 with minor mods so far. I love to drive this car, nothing I've been in makes me smile more!(cabpatch) It's nice to find a place where people appreciate this car for what it was built to do! I'll try and get some pic's up.

Welcome! What mods do you currently have? Do you have any pictures of your ride? auto or man? milage?
Hey there, I have an auto/sportshift, about 50,000 miles on her and going strong!
Mods so far are simple things like floor mats, pedals, synthetic oil, couple of blue neon lights under dash near feet, why?..I don't know. Let's see what else, oh I bought 4 new dunlop Dirrezza's , there a little stronger on the sidewall and better grip! I've started the audio wiring and stuff like that...I know i'm forgetting stuff.

Which exhuast did you order? Racing Beat? Is that you standing next to the car? Do you plan on getting a header?

Nice ride Stealth, Nice to see another silver P5! Looks like you've kept it pretty clean, I like that. Some people in an attempt to be so different, ruin this cars' looks IMO. Are you going to lower yours at all? I am going with Tein mostly for the added performance but it does set the car down nicely on it's tires! Also I bought just the Mazdaspeed axle-back for $159.00 for now, I know the racing beat is probably the way to go, but money's tight right now.

Yeah that's me with my dorky smile at the dealership when I bought her new w/4 miles on the car!
I bought this car because a friend of mine works for Mazda R & D in Aniheim CA and every month he would be driving a new model. One day he had a 2003 P5 in yellow, and I loved the look of the car, every car in my price range was Blah, but this car looked fresh and timeless. Then-the test drive- WOW!
I couldn't beleive the way this car handled...and even with only a mind numbing 130 hp it just wanted to zoom! Sold! I knew I had found a great car amongst all the crap that was being made at the time...(breakn)

thanks! Do you have pic's of your ride? I'm def. saving pic's of people's rides I like, not to copy them but take styling cues from, and get an overall "plan of attack"...There are so many great idea's on here...now if only I could inherit thosands of dollars.....(thought)
Waz up! My theory is the extra sparkle Mazda added to the 22v blinds the others into slowing down!(rockon)
