So, my room mate just bought some SSRs for his 07 RX8 and we were rotating my tires today, so he decided to just throw them on for fun... Well, this is how it turned out... Oh yeah, they are 18x9.5 with a 50mm offset....

Well, i hope that these photos are as much a laugh to you as they were to us!!

(boom05)Awesome make those work with 245's (first).

My 8.5's will be joke in comparison.lol.(second)

Wide body kit anyone?;)

Someone needs to make a Ralley Fender Flare setup and it would work well, but also look really nice!

in the early 90's I took a nissan sentra to the rim shop and they had never put rims on a import front wheel drive car and I picked out some rims that lookd nice and they installed 1 to see what it looked like, since the rims were for rear wheel drive with the most incorrect offset they were sticking out just like that. It looked like roller skates were installed on my car. They thought I wanted lowrider look. I ending up getting 15" with 195/50 from cal. Claus einstenburger or some weird name like that. That was 1993 i think

Well, i dont think that the front strut mount would like it either. We couldnt even bolt on the front all the way because it was hitting the shock!!(blowup)

Honestly, i thought it was pointless though, but my room mate said that we should try it anyway. The back really wasnt that bad, but the front is where are the problems were. I think that the back may have worked with a 48 offset, a little fender lovin (ie...rolling the holy f**k out of them), and a stiff as s**t suspension. However, there is no hope for the fronts...Without running a very low offset and looking like snoop dog's ride from '93, there would be no way.

Here is some more pics, I really didnt take that many (what, with catching my breath between outbreaks of laughter)...
