1/8 mile 9.9 msp 13 psi & losing traction

Aiight i hit knoxville dragway today to see what i could do, my best run was a 9.9 @ 75mph losing traction most of the way.

i ran various from 9.9 - a 10.5 being the worst.

Second time ever running my car first time ever running with mods.

im gonna post a picture of my best slip.

Also i'll be posting a video of some of the runs within the next few days probably saturday, i gotta get over to my friends house adn convert it to his computer and then send it to myself so i can post it.

i just posted here becuz it pertains to the msp if someone wants to move it move it, from what i understand admins are considering booting the msp's from the forum anyways becuz were all dickheads and assholes now... -shrugs- no skin off my ass, im sure another forum will pop up, if another one doens't already exist anyways.

just to be clear, im not raggin on you or nothing.
im just using your thread as a perfect example of all this "cleaning up" bulls***.

yeah i know, but msp owners are now the ugly duckling if you know what i mean.... its like a phase next year it'll be the msmx5 that are the dickheads... and im sure in the past the mp3 owners were singled at for awhile.. just another phase of a growing forum.

When I did the 1/4 mile with just MBC @ 9psi, my 1/8th mile was 9.93 with a 15.32 1/4. The 4k fuel dump was killing me... After my intake & FPR mod I noticed a huge difference. Gonna go back to the track after my 3" downpipe and exhaust are installed.

Dude I disagree. This should go in the MSP forum because MSP owners want to compare times with each other, not with P5 owners and MP3 owners. If you want smaller forum sizes create sublevels of the MSP forum.

Hey look guys let him put his post up where he wants too. get off his back. Ok man lets see 9.93 at 10psi thats very poor time for 1/8th mile i ran last night too it was very humid out about 90 here in VA. i went a career best time in my Mazdaspeed 9.55 at 76mph it consistantly runs 9.60 9.61 9.65 every time out at 10 psi spikes to 12 on 8 psi it runs 9.80. i think you need more practice mayb e shift points will help s*** at 6000 rpms launch at 3000 rpms i get some wheel spin but you cant just dump the clutch you must feather it out then let it out it spins alot wheel hops quite abit too. My buddy has a built TYPE R and he runs 9.50 all day i beat him about every 1 out of 3 races we run he also has 15s drag radials on his car. these 17s dont help much. try letting the air out a few lbs. to about 25 psi. i cant show my time slips i have no scanner but we do have some video comming soon of some good racing. so every one be safe

hey, only my second time running so get off my back j/k.
well when you see the video you can hear my tires spinning the the full track and i ran a 9.9 so i think thats pretty dayum good. i'll try to get the video asap.
