Mazda3 production pictures

I don't know, something about this angle here..... I can just picture it with skirts and a nice (normal) spoiler, and wheels....this thing is going to be NICE.

Then at other angles....I'll have to wait and see.

Ugh! The front end looks like it's a foot and a half higher than the current P5. So do the side doors. That is exactly what I detest about the Toyota Matrix!

No, I'm not talking about the height off of the ground. I'm talking about the height in general. Side sills aren't going to make the hood or the side windows any lower!

There is one picture there with the side sills (the sedan newf posted above). The hatch sills look identical.

The sport (gfx in Canada) package is much more subtle in the Mazda3 than in the Mazda6.

this is what the wagon with the GFX and sport grille will look like. Am I right/close wongpres?

Yep, that's it.

Actually the initial Mazda3 pictures released from Mazda back in late June of the light-blue hatch is the sport/GFX package.

the front stance looks like a cross-over between rx8 and 6 the back reminds me of 6. mmm a mini6 nice call shaunmp5. the interior definitely remind me of 8 though, with those buttons for and the interior color trims.

Some people compare the mazda3sport with the Vibe/Matrix. Well here is a comparo between the Mazda 3 (current proteg sedan) and [Vibe/Matrix)

lenght = 4,42m (4,45m) [4,36m]
wide = 1,76m (1,70m) [1,77m]
height = 1,47m (1,41m) [1,60m]
wheelbase = 2,64m (2,61m) [2,60m]

So Mazda3 is longer, wider and WAY SHORTER than the Vibe/matrix. It's not the same car at all. The M3 should be even more fun to drive than the current proteg.
:)

Not too shabby. The interior looks nice. However, I can't stand the grill. Just doesn't look "proportional" to me and the shape is nasty.
