Offset is 42mm & bolt pattern is 5x114. will this fit the ms3? they are for sale locally, 4 rims and 4 tires for 550 with lug nuts(minor scratches)...considering these rims as a option because of price...i want to know if anyone has these or if someone can photoshop them onto a true red ms3.

Thank you,

Those should fit. an 18x7 with a 42mm offset is pretty much stock. I like the falken wheels, but my issue is I want more meat for more traction. If this isn't important to you, then by all means I'd say you've got a good deal there. I found the Falkens on wheelsnext, if you need good pics to photoshop.

Keep in mind, there is also the issue of center bore, because that measurement wasn't mentioned by you. I forget which one you need for our car, but make sure the wheels you are getting actually will match up to it.

i figure its a good buy because two tires are new and two are used..i can buy the rims....use them for a bit and probably sell them for 350 without tires and i end up paying 200 for some rather new tires and some rims for a lil while....i really want to get a pic of these photoshopped onto a true red ms3...

if you're considering them for the price, i'd get something else. the graphite/polished lip will look good on the red, but the design of the wheel (to me) is pretty ghetto.

yea im nto much a fan of the wheel but jsut for tire and the wheel, since i could sell the rims again....i jsut want photoshop pic of it to see what it looks like

here is a pic off a mazda6. Same size and offset. Our offset sucks though since we get no lip. Otherwise I dig em.

The MS3 stock rim is a 18" x 7" with a 52.5mm offset. If you put a 42 mm offset it will push out the edge about 10 mm or 1/2 an inch. No big deal.

I have a 18" x 8" with a 50mm offset and it fits fine with the 215 stock tires and the Mazdaspeed lowering springs. I am pretty sure that a 225 tire will fit but not sure if a 235 tire will fit without rubbing.

Have a few more miles to put on before I wear them out.

Cheers!

Peter
