tein or eibach for msp?

ok, I really want the teins, but I have heard that they are softer than the stock springs... I want a stiffer ride,, less body roll, etc.... the teins would have a nice drop, but I dont want soft springs...

the eibachs are PERFECT for what I hear, but would it drop my car any?? a buddy of mine has them on his protege DX, it lowers his car about 3 fingers... but our msp already has lower springs... so would the eibach pro kit lower my car any??

I'm wondering that same thing... Then again, the MSP is pretty well tuned when it comes to suspension. From all of the reading I've done, suspension tuning is VERY difficult to do and do right, for that matter. I may keep it stock because of that reason.

yes, I am going to look at spring rates and whatnot...check them out.. b/c the stock racig beats we have might stay..

you gotta do suspension right... get some FULL COILOVERS and get it done right the first time... sure your gonna spend almost 2 grand or more... but you get the best.

stop doubting me! get h&r's or eibachs and be happy with the purchase! i'm gonna start hitting you potato :o

If you want proven, get Eibachs. I thought about TEIN's as they are coming around reputation wise, and are a bit cheaper. But as can be seen with the car's coming out of that country, they know what they are doing when it comes to vehicle tuning.

I just think Eibach has the best track record for springs, and now that mine are installed, I have to just keep on believing that.

Eibach, H&R used worldwide on winning race cars, Spool personally I never heard of till I joined this board. Just my reasoning on choosing a brand. Also have experience using Eibach and H&R springs on other make/model cars.

anyone feel the needs of camber kit to make sure the tires dun wear out because of the angle after the car is lowered?

www.adventon.com

if you can get all your stuff there, do it. the thing is they dont have autometer in stock, soyou cant get EVERYTHING there.

203 for exhaust. this site has already been discussed in threads guys =p

wait a tick.. the eibach's are for 98-01 protege, and it says 1.4" drop in front and 1.8" in the rear.. are those for our msp? and if it is, that is the wrong drop.. isnt it? I thought the pro kits drop more in the front.... right??

whats a camber kit

camber is the angle at which your tires meet the ground, believe it or not, they dont just sit flat. Lowering or raising the camber angle puts more wear on the inside or outside of the tires. This is very important as tires wear out with bad camber, and also really limits traction.

I ordered Tein S-tech's for my MSP, they are coming in this week. I still havent seen anybody with those springs on an MSP.

I just wanted the drop, i guess we will see how they are soon........

I'll post pics soon

i ordered the tein springs too. they will be here on the 19th (tomorrow). I will post some pics of my car, before and after. here is a pic of a mp3 with tein springs.
