Honda takes design cues from Mazda?

I was wondering why I find the Fit Sport good-looking (the first interesting Honda-badged design in 10 years) and then it hit me. The rims are MP3 knock-offs. There's a little Mazda in it! :)

My moms Chrysler Sebring has stock rims that look closer to the MP3 rims than that. You would be better off compairing how it seems the Mazda Protege base model is all too similar to the Civic.

It might be my next car--Jackson Racing makes supercharger kits for the Fit, and Hasport is developing an RSX Type-S motor kit for it. Interesting.

Ehh. A little Mazda-ish. And I mean a little. I wouldnt go as far to say the stole design cues, maybe the side skirts (agreed jeg). That was almost my car but it was deemed "too small".

I like my p5 better tho. :P

More to the Mitsubishi Evo than anything else. Just follow the progression of the Evo with the protege. They are very similiar in body lines and front and rear design. And I say similiar not same just to be clear. Mostly the Evo IV and V

Everyone takes design cues from everyone. Mazdas have a lot of similarities to other cars too.

you want to know why it looks good? it's called early 2000's styling
yeah, the fit came out in 2001

I never woulda noticed that... then again I dont like late 90's and up nissans so I ignore them...
