Some 323 stuff I got in China! PICS!

Hey everyone, I've been in China for a couple weeks now and finally went to a mazda parts store to get some stuff. The taillights are stock on the 2005 323. I haven't seen any forum member with these yet...I like them alot though! Unique and better than altezzas! Let me know what you think! Sorry for the blurry pics

Also for the HID kit I got, does anyone know if it fits the housing? It's a bixenon H4 bulb. Thanks!

Nice lights ! The HIDs should fit - unless there's a difference in headlights between the two different versions of the protege (North American / Asian)

AHAHAH I know a place where I can order those by the dozens. I wasn't sure of the quality. The place sells Nike, Adidas, etc etc and a s*** LOAD of clothes.

I guess you get what you pay for. At 37.50 a pair..I guess you can't expect to get the topa qualitia

lol well alot of the automotive stuff we buy are made in china. China has a huge ass market of HIDs. There are malls JUST for aftermarket parts...It's freakin awesome. The tails do have a false light, but I guess you can always drill it to make it functional.

As for those Nikes, 37.50 is expensive for bootleg nikes! You can get some here for less than 5 bucks.

I work in manufacturing and we source a good portion of our printed circuit board assemblies in Asia. Quality is so-so. We also source a lot of our molded plastic parts to Asia. Quality is below-average. The problem with the quality is the level of consistency (or their lack of consistently building to spec). Anyone with manufacturing experience knows where I'm coming from.

Do you have the PCBs made in China or just populated/stuffed there?

We have two good US sources on PCBs but they just can't compete in pricing against the Asian sources. We just sent over several engineers and quality associates to China to work with their engineers. It's hard to justify spending $25 on a 4-layer board when China can do it for $7.

Tell me about it. The best thing is the speak/email understandable English until there is a problem...then they don't understand you, lol.

I might PM you sometime if you wouldn't mind passing along the name of a reputable PCB supplier in China. We do decent quantity, and would like to see what kind of pricing we could get.

The tails have been installed! There were some issues with it. One of the bulbs aren't used and 2 of 4 of the used bulbs didn't fit the socket. I just ended up using some double sided tape and electric tape and it worked out great! I freakin love these! Different but not ricey...
