Next Generation Mazda 3

Was the Mazda 3 shown at the 2007 Geneva Auto Show the next gen Mazda 3 (2009 launch)?

That may be a facelift for 09 or 08 but I'd hardly call it next-gen. It looks almost exactly the same as the 07 version other than the rims.

there is no discernable difference between that car and the 07 version with the exception of the wheels.

The wheels are more than likely different because of the european market (which is where that car is from. notice the headlamp washers?).

that is not the 09 mazda 3
