Can you run the tokicos with stock springs? Despite my searching I still cannot get a definative answer on this? I really do not want to lower my P5!
Thanks for your help.

I don't see why you can't. It should all fit together since aftermarket springs work with stock struts and the Tokico struts. Since you are spending the money on getting nice struts, you should pick up a set of used MSP springs. they do not lower your ride too much, and are a good match with the HP blues.

They will so will the MP3 springs.

You'll probably get slightly better body roll control (you will still get body roll), less "floating" up and down after a bump, maybe better initial braking control, and probably a slightly firmer ride. (These are educated guesses though).

I went the opposite route and installed MP3 springs with stock struts for my earlier suspension mod a few years ago.

not too worried about body roll.....i have a 22mm progress bar in the back!

then you might as well finish off with some springs... :) the MP3/MSP springs will do fine. they do not lower your car very much. definitely less than 1" so almost stock looking.

where is the best place to source some springs? Here on the boards in the FS section I would guess....right?

That would be a good place to start. IMO, get some springs that offer a more aggresive drop.....like Eibach or Tein.

I don't want to drop it. Dropping a car just creates problems for me around Utah as the roads are not exactly stellar and I would destroy my front bumper in quick order. Besides, I still drive it on dirt roads occasionally and up the canyons in deep snow and I need all the ground clearance I can get! (See below pics) :)
