speakers?

hey guys i was just wondering what kind of door speakers you all are using? they are 6x8's, correct? im looking to get sony xplods, ive had them in my old car and they sounded great for the price. any other suggestions?

they are actually 5x7,but many 6x8 fits...

for most people,we have 6 1/2 fitted in the doors,wich i think sounds better than any 5x7 or oval size speakers...

as for the sony explode,its a matter of taste,you could search a bit,and you can find many better than sony speakers,for about the same price..

like:low range alpine

some rockford fosgate

infinity

clarion

kenwood

polk audio

jbl,and many more

but to tell the truth,i am an audiophile,so at my taste,no sony for me....

some other guys here are probably going to help you out with what they like..(glare)

Sony = Crap when it comes to car audio.

Check out www.crutchfield.com. For budget speakers, you are better off going with brands like Infinity, Polk, and Alpine.

I just put in some Rockford Fosgate speakers in my car and they sound amazing. They are on the spendy side but they do sound amazing.

I've got a pair of Infinity Reference 6x8's in my front doors and a pair of 6x9's in the rear deck. I'm quite satisfied with my Infinity's. Great sound

Kenwood Excelon 5x7s in the front and 6x9s in the back. Sounds great to me

I have a Sony Xplod sub and amp and have had no problems with either.

I HAVE 6X8'S IN THE FRONT,6 1/2'S IN THE BACK DOORS, 6X9'S IN THE REAR,TWO 12'S IN THE TRUNK,AND TWO PAIR OF TWEETERS ALL FOSGATE.
