Anyone changing door speakers *non Bose system* Pics inside!

Hey! New CX-7 owner here! Got the base GT model w/out Bose. Would like to change the door speakers but there are no screwes or anything you can take out. Looks like the whole thing is held in with mega clips. If anyone has changed or taken the door panels off I would greatly appreciate some help!

The screws for the drvr side are in the armrest(under a little piece of carpet), behind the door handle(pry small plastic away). Pass side is same plus the larger handle has 1 each top and bottom, pry the cover of the handle off, you should be able to see the seam there. The rest of the fasteners are the plastic poppers, just start pulling from the front then down around to the back, be careful don't yank. Then, push the door handle assy from the inside out, turn it and push back through to the inside. Unplug the switches, and pull the panel up and out of the car. Good Luck

thanks! does the felt come out easy or will i have to cut another piece?

update - went and found the pass side handle and took the cover off. stuck on how to take out/where the plastic beind the door handle is. just that flimsy plastic behind the handle? it wont break, seems pretty fragile.

So, everything worked out for ya then? I am more than happy to help. Look at the alpine type x 6.5 components, ebay around 200 shipped. I've got them, and I'm also getting the 4 inch to make a three way system( I'll be doing stereo comps this spring/summer). Yeah, I think I'm the first cx-7 owner crazy enough to do a big system in the car( started the second week I had it :)
