Is the Mintblue Grille Supposed to look like this?

Just my 2c worth, it looks like it might be the wrong grill for that front bumper. It seems to not match up with the lines of the bumper at all, and it seems to be too deep for that bumper.

it looks to me that even if you get the thing aligned right that it would still look like poo. the curve of the grill on the sides looks to be more rounded off compared to the more angled contour of the bumper.

Thats what I was thinking too. The bottom of it rubs while the sides don't even touch the bumber. That would be a whole lot of bondo to fill in the gap on the sides.

I gotta agree with Ripper here, too, that just does not look even look like the right part.

I didn't see the gaps on the upper half. I wouldn't begin to attempt to bondo that.

I agree, i've never seen it anywhere near that off.

Try to exchange for another!

First time I have seen a MintBlue grille with so much gap. You sure this isn't from Erebuni?

Good luck man.

It should look like this:

Edit: okay, I guess even in those pictures it doesn't fit quite right... (poke)

In that second pic the grille looks like it hangs out past the bumper. The one I have wants to do that too. I thought they were supposed to tuck in a little. (dunno)

It looks like it would fit my bumper, which is the Aus 1.8L version, and the grill is a slightly different shape to the p5 grill.

My stock upper grille from my Protede DX had those same gaps when I put it on my new MSP/P5 bumper...when you buy these type of after market grilles does it specify between a MSP/P5 upper grille insert and a protege n/a one??? Because as far as I know they are have different part numbers if you get the stock ones from the dealer.
