I am wondering how many degrees powder coating can take?

Would I be able to powder coat the heat shied with out any problems?
 
haha..this much is true..yea, i was looking into painting my header heatshield..im pretty sure you can use engine compartment rattle for it

If anyone still wants info on powder coating, or wants anything to be powder coated, post here or PM me. gjmoreo I can do your heat shield, but it will have to be high temp powder coat. There are not many colors to choose from when it comes to high temp.
 
I agree if I could afford to spend a lot of money to have that done, I would also. Its not cost effective if you are using it to dress up a engine bay. Its mainly used to do headers, because it helps to hold in the heat. Go ahead and do it and let us know how much you spent when its done. My prices are not too expansive; I work for little profit, and lots of experience.

actually, you'd be surprised how cost effective it could be. Call up Jet Hot and let them give you an estimate for pricing......I was going to go with some other coating too, but jet hot is the way...
