is there a difference in the models tailights, because i need to replace my passenger tailight due to an accident. but im not sure if a regular 03 tailight would fit on my MSP. any help would be appriciated. thanks

they're all the same, from 1999 to 2003.5

If I remember correctly the MSP has a pinkish tint in the reverse light region that the regular proteges do not have. Other than that they are the same.

^^ correct. The MSP has the pinkish tint on that center bar, while the MP3/ES/DX/LX is just clear there.

physically it will fit. the look is different though. it's a "feature" on the MSP that it has pink coloring over the reverse section. if you wanted to get 2 regular protege tails it'd be fine, if you had 1 regular 1 MSP tail the fit would be ok but they wouldn't match
