Hey guys, just bought my MSP a little while ago, traded in my 97 gst spyder. I love the handling but lost a bit of power comming form the DSM. But im extermely happy with it. I guess i got a good deal for $14500 along with the trade wich they only gave me $3000 for. The sumbitch leaked from the top like crazy anyway. Ill get some pics and mod list later on when i have more time. Well just wanted to show my face in the forum. Thanks for the space and any advice in advance

Welcome (thumb)

.....Whats the specs on the speed u picked up? color, mileage, etc.

Oh well welcome to the fourms man. Looking forward to finding out the specs and production #. Well, if you have questions, this is the place!

Titanium grey, 46000 miles, haven't figured out how to get the production number yet. It's pretty sweet, VIS carbon fiber hood, HiBoost FMIC, GHL full 3 inch turboback, Koenig 17" "Unknown" rollers, Greddy FATT, Greddy Profec b ebc, autometer cobalt boost, oil, and a/f guages. Not as much torque as the dsm but the handling more than makes up for it

Welcome, maybe one of the NC members knows if the original owner was on here. Pics also wanted...

Yep, no doubt. You'll enjoy the handling a bunch in this part of the country.

got the production number. looks like i'm #131. Im going to try to get some pics up this weekend

just as a warning since the car already has an ebc, don't turn the knob to go past 8-9 psi. you'll be sorry if you do. proteges don't have nice rods like the 4g63

yeah, i've been reading through the forums about alot of blown engines. something about the MSP just being basically a regular protege with a turbo thrown in it no internal upgrades. its set at 8 psi now and im a little weary about even touching the ebc beacuse of that fact.

welcome. I picked my MSP a few weeks ago. Its not my current T/A in the power department, but its stil fun as hell!

pics

Finally got some pics up, tell me what you guys think

oops forgot to put the body kit in the description
only one foglight works i need to get a new bulb for the other one. the guy that had it before tried to rig up a switch underneath the steering column for it and it looks like he tried to use a soldering iron to melt the plastic away to make room for the switch. looks like ass but you cant really see it unless you stick your head next to the pedals

thanks for the feedback......also i was wondering if anybody else had hesitation problems when the engine is cold, its getting to be a pain in the ass because i have to sit there for a while to let it warm up instead of just getting in and going
