What have you done to your P5 today?

This is the second time I've had the front off and I can do it pretty quick now that I have all the special manuevers down (dang light tabs). If you still have those screws lying around (sounds like you may have gotten them back on), send me a pic and I'll let you know where they go :) Full frontal pics are coming when the lip goes on ...
haha, yeah it took both of us about 10 min of looking back and forth between the diagram and the bumper while lying under the car before we had the 'eureka' moment. those tabs are a PITA - almost as bad as changing the low-beam bulbs. i think i did break one... i have to take the cover off again sometime this summer to redo my eyelids, so i may get new ones as a precaution.

mmm, full frontal... can't wait :D

Really? Because when I put mine in, I noticed a difference - not jaw to the floor improvement, but it was noticeable.
Yes there is a slight difference, but I was always told that it takes a few hundred miles for the ecu to take full advantage of it. just like when I put my
magnaflow catback on and reset the ecu, the performance got better and better after about a week or two of driving.

I've been ordering & whoring parts left & right since I've been in the desert.
I got a great deal on some DGM rear valance & deck trim c/f pieces from Rouge P5 right before I left the States...and I purchased this:
RacingBeat rear sway bar + MSP endlinks + NEW AWR 20mm bushings - $150
today from Prodigy.
Yeah for great suspension!

Today I decided to get my free tire rotation at discount tire.

When they pulled off the right front the inside was worn down to the cord. Steel belt was visible. D'oh that tire's toast. So I had them put the rear on the front and the spare on the back.

To continue there was not a discount tire in the state of Arizona with a NITTO 555 in stock. So my tire had to be ordered directly from NITTO North America.

So in the mean time I am to run on my spare. Yea right. Stock rims with the Yokahama AVS's will go on until the new Nitto arrives next week.

Right, it should have no effect. However, I remember one person (dude who just turboed his black p5) complaining that his light output when down after he did it. I know that if it's done right the only part that will be black is the housing but it never hurts to check. Naw mean?
Yep, that'd be me. And I wasn't complaining, just giving my .02 on the light ouput after blacking them out. The only part I painted is the usual plastic piece in the middle, everything else is still chrome. It seems to be the pattern that's affected more than the actual output. My mom's 02 lx side by side w/ my p5 has the crisp light pattern that my p5 used to have before the blackout. I think since the pattern is a little less sharp, it makes the output look a little dimmer. Again, it's not a HUGE difference, but enough to notice. I also plan on putting in HID's in the near future.

:) sorry about that, I guess I could have used better word choice. haha

Either way, thanks for heads up.

No worries, I don't take anything on these forums personally. :) I just wanted to try and explain it a little better, but I think it sounds more confusing, haha.

The Panda is parked in my boss's garage...she said that my co-worker (whom I gave permission to drive it) parked it in a dorm parking lot & it got vandalized.

She told me she was joking after I threatened her & my co-worker w/bodily harm over the phone from half way around the planet.

Just goes to show...Car people are different from ordinary human beings.

Preach on Brother 5!
No kidding....the ppl in my office here were shocked....ha ha.

Anyway, BOT:
I forgot to mention I purchased a nice MP5 engraved oil cap from "dawrench", a pair of seats for the P5 and a pair of Mazdaspeed harnesses (all from ebay)to compliment them. :) The seats and belts are en route to said boss's house for "storage"...heh heh.
