honestly... i used a rachet, that's it, no spring compressor, nothing. a rachet and a flat head to take off the clips in the rear dash. and for those who think you need a spring compressor you're sadly mistaken.
simply leave the car on the ground. remove the top nuts from the struts, jack the car up slowly, and the spring decompresses itself.
with my GC's they were so low i didn't need anything to get them back on, i just put them on, but either way with the eibach's you shouldn't need to compress them to get them back on... if you do, a simple channel lock holding on to 2 of the coils will suffice. did this on my buddy's EP civic Si.
yes i've redone my suspension twice and no i have never had a single problem (besides one from letting a buddy forget to tighten down one of the struts and it was fixed before i even got the car out of the driveway.)
