I've gotten quite a few pm's and comments on my P5's battery box. The guy that manufactures these had been sold out for a while, but they're available on ebay again. I've got a pretty detailed how-to on the install if someone picks one up (and I'll be taking pictures along the way when I install my second one in my MSP).

Here's some current links:

If you're interested in a 4/2/1 plated steel header, go here: http://www.racingmazda.com/protege-exhaust.htm. The kit is complete, fits perfectly (I've run it 10K with no problems, despite what you may have seen elsewhere in the forum) and functions effectively.

This is combined with my Magnaflow CB and a second Magnaflow muffler. Sound is deep--no rice. However, the system is catless, thus illegal in emissions states.

Gained around 5whp dynoed. Anyone quoting power gains other than dynoed is bench racing, nothing more.

If you're interested in an Essential Speed shorty header, I have one--maybe the only one in captivity--in silver jet coat. Fits perfectly onto head and#1 cat; you can install yourself within an hour at the outside. Excellent quality. Gains, unfortunately, are minimal. However, it's legal, as the OEM cats remain in the system and there's no problem with the second 02 sensor; no MIL probs.

Thats exactly what I am looking for. Maybe they can anodize it as well? Maybe a red color if possible???
i want it in red too.

Thats crazy man! I can't even begin to imagine how much time and effort that took to get his bay that way. I can tell you right now that I wouldn't have the time nor patience to do all that stuff. It would drive me nuts. But thats why Pirana's bay looks the way it does and why mine looks the way it does. Job well done!! *thumbs up*

vic, you like the orange brackets on the strut bar? engine bay looks nice, as would be expected!!

Thanks for the compliments, I really appreciate it....Joe, the orange looks good, I originally didnt like it and thought about changing the color, but it matched the Ksports camber plate so good, I left it the way it came...my beef is that there are two tones of orange...Blake and JDM Sam's bar are way darker than mine, their badge is the silver one, while mine is the black one. I think they are getting cheap on the paint. ;)
