Damn that sucks man. Any new updates?

i think that im gonna suck it up and buy the new wheel, but its gonna have to wait til feb or march cuz ive got wayy to many bills right now, sucks tho cuz i was supposed to be buying the sport20 bumber this spring, but now that project is $300 down cuz of the wheel

Ive gone through 2 cracked wheels and 3 bent ones thanks to NJ roads.

Ive given up on low pros and have just moved on to 16's not even any curb rash in the last year. Although I do miss a set of good low pro tires. Maybe for the summer ill go back.

yea if i could go back in time, id probly just get a nice set of 16's... since ive moved to DE its been much better on the wheels, its only when i go home to see my parents that i seem to have problems...

How does the wheel look like after that?
Do you have pix?

i dont have any pics of what it looked like with the tire off cuz i didnt have my digicam at home and i left the wheel there, but these are what it looked like with the tire on...it really doesnt look that bad but when the tire came off there was a spiderwebbing crack over 6" long and almost to the center of the wheel

Damn! Your wheels look pretty strong and still manage to bent like this.

The same thing happened to a friend of mine who drives an Accord coupe a while ago. He drove over some construction zone and have the same bent at the inside of the wheel.

Thats not so bad
take it to another shop. That is very repairable.
Although because they are forged it would be better to just get a new one. If they repair it it will never be as stong and just bend again.

yeah it wasnt a pothole as much as it was a bridge joint under repair, leaving like a 3" height diff between the road and bridge, unmarked and i hit it at like 55....had i known it would f up my wheel like this i wouldve gotten a police report so i could at least try and get money from penndot

as far as taking it to another shop, one guy said he could do it, but that the integrity of the wheel would be compromised so much that i would probably have to replace it within 6 months anyway, so i figure its not worth the money to fix it once then replace it later...
