northwest pics

Cosworth Escort I believe. Fast little beast.

Here are a few pictures I didnt even realize I had on my camera.

#1: Saw this one the other day when it snowed. I know for you people it's not exciting, but in Alabama we see snow once every few years, and even then it's just a light dusting. This was the first snow covered P5 I've seen in real life.

#2: This is a shot of a sunset we decided to pull off the freeway for on the trip up here. I think this was in central washington somewhere, maybe about 30 minutes south of Olympia.

#3: I saw these guys the other day and had to get a snapshot. One was an older woman chugging along at the speed limit, the other was a little punk kid with chrome rimzzzz and altezas. But they got onto the freeway at the same onramp, so I thought it was neat that 3 silver P5's just happened to start cruising together.

Then there are historical parts to the falls

just below the lower falls you can find the original Olympia brewery. one of the oldest structures still in existance in washington.

Then in between the falls is a stone foundation. this is what remans of an old grain mill built by the first american to settle in tumwater. he also carved the first trail to the nisqually river where he built a larger mill. it took him 3 weeks to travel 8 miles due to the thick forests that once stood here.

I will have some olympia pictures tomorrow.

It's a 1995 Cosworth RS Escort. I work with the owner, who is indeed the guy in the brown suit. His name is Marcus. His son also has one, it is red, he is in Grad school back East right now.

What happened is that the lower control arm snapped and sent him into the curb and bushes. You can see that excessive camber on the left front.

It is now back together, I will get a pic Monday of my MSP and his Cossie.

In the spirt of this here are some of mineI got a whole bunch more but just for starters. There is me acting like a kid again at Super Autobacs in Yokohama, its like the costco for cars (shocked). Just the defalt skyline. And trying to catch a 360 on the road but got stopped by traffic...

Asked him how he managed to complete such a tardo maneuver.

Like I mentioned above, the control arm snapped and sent him across into the curb. He doesn't drive the car like an ass, I have no reason not to believe him. the shop said that one of the welds failed, although I have not seen it personally. He replaced them with WRC control arms so he won't risk the car again.

Oh... missed that I guess.

Seeing that car like that was one of the most mind blowing things I had ever seen in my life. Being what it was and how it was.

Although it seemed much cooler when I thought some older dude in a brown suit was driving around like a crazy ass and crashed.

Here are just some random city pics of Tokyo. Ya I'm still amazed on how many buildings there are....... Remember 2 of these, I'm on top of a 60 story bulding. Buildings as far as the eye can see.... crazy stuff
