Fiat 131 Abarth Stradale

Late 70s rally homologation special, pre-pre-precursor to the evo and sti. I want one, bad. does anyone know if there are any in the states? I don't think they were sold here, but neither were R5 turbos and I know that sun international imports them. any info would be great. BMW ripped this design off when it designed the E30 84-91. It looks alot like a Daturn 510.

I actually had a Fiat Spyder 2000 in high school. My step-father bought it new in 1982 and gave it to me in 1988. I miss that little car. Damn fun to drive and despite opinions, it was really reliable. It was british racing green with tan top and interior. I'd like to find another one day to play with.

I thought Lada was a Russian car?

in 1969 Soviet Union bought a license and built an assembly line to build a clone of Fiat (110 it was i believe) which became lada 2101

that last lada is 2106 i believe and that is the car we had (bought new mind you in 1995....) I think they just stopped making them a year ago....

Its similar but I don't think they are the same car.

sorry. i take it back. They aren't the same car cause at that point soviet union was "upgrading" the car left and right Althou most of the disign and ingeneering came from now newer fiats. Besides like i said they never made lada coupes, so it's not a direct comparison. I am sure they are very similar though....
