Well I am more than a little pissed. I had my truck parked at the back of the driveway last week and it appears that when the garbage truck came around to collect the mechanical arms hit my truck and put a nice big dent in it along with some pretty heavy scratches. It happened last monday and because I don't drive it everyday and because my roommate has parked behind it everyday since then I did not notice it. He came in and told me about it last night and when I went out and saw it I was more than a little stumped. it took about 10 minutes to figure out exactly what had happened but once I did it all made sense. I am contacting my garbage collector about this and am just trying to decide what to do about insurance. Here are the pics.

no kidding..... All the guy does that picks up our trash is sit in the cab and stop every few feet and push a button. He never gets out of the damn truck. If it had been 2" in any direction it would have killed either my bumper or tailgate or both or would have completely missed it. So far looks like I need a new bumper and am going to have to have the corner fixed. this may just be the excuse I needed to get my truck repainted though. hey I am trying to see the up side of this.
Nah roommate didn't see it. He is just the one that pointed out the damage to me. I know exactly when it happened. Last Monday! My roommates RX7 was parked in front of my truck and my truck was at the back of my driveway. Well the garbage cans are right next to the road and there is only about 5 feet that I have to place both the trash can and the recycle bin.
