i would beat you down and take that from you sam.. I want an R6, but I'm not gonna pay 300 more for that anniversary color. I'd be content with Yamaha blue.
Oh BTW. Yamaha Blue looks sooo sweet w/o the decals.

Thanks Racer girl. i will do my best to do so.

The Bike was $6600 with a little manuevering. That includes gap insurance. Not a bad price. I am going 2 Saturdays from now to a Police Motorcycle training day at our Police Station. 1st part of the day is classroom the 2nd part is classroooooooooommmmmmm. I get 10% my insurance and my friend who's a LT on the force said that the cops I will be rding with will always look out for you after you go through class with them. SWEEEEET! Should be a blast.

pretty fast.......for a Harley. You'll be bored with a 600cc after 1 season.
Its a good learner bike though. Congrats.

Problem is, if hes a new rider, he wont touch 11 secs. Launching a bike is way tougher. My first bike was a 600 back in 91, lol. Granted, it was quick, but not powerful. I still wanted bigger. My last one was an 1100. Ok , Ill give him 2 seasons. If you rode a 600, then rode a Busa, I guarantee youd choose the 1300. Plus, Im a little too chuby/husky for a 600. I love the look of that bike. Road Warrior-ish. Look at the CB900 or the ZR1100. Same basic design. Like a blast from the early 80s. I love the no/minimal plastic.

I laugh at all the guys in town that cant ride for s*** but think they need those Hyabusa's to be cool. 600cc's is plenty for me to enjoy.

nice bike. I was looking for some 600cc's. that one looks really good. Now only if I had money

I don't think he is going to get killed.

Knowing him, he'd kill the bike before the bike kills him. I mean just look at his orange MSP :)

j/k

heheh

to each his own, but if youre still riding in 15 years, I doubt it will be a 600cc.
bikes are like cars, sure 7psi is fun, but 14 psi is more fun, lol
I dont know, I guess 600cc these days are better than 600cc from 15 years ago.

I know what you mean, Ive seen some zx6s and such, flip over at the track trying to launch. Matter of fact, couple of months ago at the track, this guy on a Hyabusa kept on getting his bike vertical off the line. He kept doing it too. His buddies were yelling at him. He would go vertical, hit his brake, almost come to a complete stop, and still ran high 10s lol. But I think that idiot wouldve been doing the same thing on a 250cc.

Agreed.

when they start makin' bikes with trunks then we'll see about me pimpin' one.... =)

nice bike! (2thumbs)

I doubt I will get tired of it that quick. Maybe though, see I have the wife card in the deck though. I tried for 3 years so I give it 4 years more. But then come the kids and bigger house and all of that stuff so we'll see. My dad has a modded 1981 KZ650 that was pretty quick in its day. My bike stomps it. Way more power from begining to end. Technology is great.

I still miss that Spicy MSP, no blowing up the bike. (boom05) In fact my buddy has forbidden me to mod it for at least 2 years. Should be fun.

Wife AND kids! Yore lucky you got a bike at all! I retract all prvious posts, lol.
Congrats on pulling that off!

They do, it's called a honda Goldwing. They even offer an airbag for the 06 model.
