I matched my car and intake. and did it myself

Edit: just checked, it still isnt dirty at all. looks like I just barely did it still!

just a regular spray can.. its a touch up paint for body panel...

put 2 wrinkle effects, 4 coats 'regency red' then 2 thick coats of clear/gloss... then polish it...

re-coat within 2hour or wait after 24hr... coz if you re-coat after 2 hr and before 24hr, the paint is not hard enuf and the thinner in the new coat gonna eat the underlying coat... and u wouldnt want that...

I was going to say without, but damn FLAMEBOY your set-up looks sweet.
I know mines not a 3 but I'd rather not cover it up. My Intake wouldn't allow it anyway.

u know how messy mazda3 wiring are, and i cbf to fix it up... so i decide to cover it up... maybe later when i start dressing up the cable and hoses, then i'll take the cover off...

I say without. My mom did something cool with hers, the company she works for Laser cut a piece of metal that goes over part of it..I'll try to take a picture tonight. It looks stellar.

i think i will do silver on the outside 2 sections....leave the middle black and maybe do the emblem and writing in red...

i got a titanium gray and i thought about it but there isnt much of a choice of colors.
Take pictures of yours and maybe i'll do mine.

I wouldnt just leave the middle black. Once you paint the outside they will be glossy then the center will be dull. at least paint the middle portion black to match the gloss. Or at least clear coat the whole thing. I would do both

thats kinda what i meant...i wasn't just gonna leave it flat...ugh....i hate flat black....thanks though...i might end up painting the orange parts of my strut bar Red like the CAI

A Strut bar is a waste on that car. The bar is built into the cars frame...
