I like the shifter boot someone use to make leather ones for short shifters does anyone know if they still do I need one.

2 years? It took me 30 minutes at most to install my KartBoy.
SR ShiftBoots are top notch quality for leather and stitching. I highly recomend. You get can different sizes to match your shifter and thread colors.

Where can I get a SR ShiftBoot?

shaundarbie, a forum member makes them. do a search and you should find the thread.

my kartboy install took a couple hours due to me forgetting how it went back together... haha.

looks nice!

Hahahaha, I love the tatoo. Rofl.

Kartboy was the firt mod for my baby. I ordered it before I even had the car, haha.

ya when it comes to big installs i usualls do them quick. but the simple stuff i seem to put off forever.

Altspace--thanks for the compliment!

I'll be up and running here pretty quick. I'm actually having a simple website built right now, www.srshiftboots.com. I have 3 different sized boots for the Protege, fitting the major short shifters.

BTW, was that Poseur who gave you the boot, joka1? I think he's in WA, and he did some test-fitting for me...
