I just got my MSP,and i love it. Looks sweet and runs great, but it does seem to run a little rich. The previous owner had a custom exhaust put on from the downpipe back. He took the CAT out, and on other threads some of you guys have said that it will set a code, or a engine light. I work at FORD and test their development test tools, so i took one home and there were no Cells or Diag codes. Do you think it will cause a problem down the road. (scratch)

no they probably 'rigged' it to no throw a code, there are optoins out there.

If you have emmissions tests where you live you might have a problem, but I say just keep it that way until someone tells you you need a CAT.

The cars run pig rich from the factory. I run a catless downpipe and it took a long time to throw a CEL. I just used the HELP sparkplug fouler trick to fix it as oppossed to splicing in to the O2 wiring.

Enjoy your MSP.

Maybe i can just turn up the boost to lean it out.... (glare)

yeah be very carefull of that or you will be in big trouble

where in MI are you?

Just moved to Lincoln Park, dont start with the (Downriver stuff), i got a nice house with a big garage. The MSP looks so good in there. Where in troy do you live? My girl is thinking about working a Somerset AGAIN.

Looks like you have done a ton of mods to your car, all i have on mine is Injen CAI, Turbosmart Dual port BOV, Custom Exhaust, HKS Carbon fiber Muffler, Eibach lowering kit, 18inch White rims. I have the HIboost FMIC on order, then i have to put my gauges in. I hope with all this i can run around 8psi with my stock internals.

welcome to the forum and enjoy the car. i am working to get you your FMIC right now!

I live in clarkston actually and work in troy. I cant make any jokes cause I dont know what your talking about lol, I am from Canada and have only lived down here since Oct so I dont know the area all that well.

What color is your car? I wanna see pics with white mins, i love white rims

Ken will take care of ya :)

I know ken is good, but i'm getting impaitent (eekdance) . I hope that it comes soon. I think Clarkston is about 35 min away. I will get some pics up here soon. I was debating to get the rims powder coated black, cuz my car is blue and its tinted. Here is the picture in the autotader, its before the tint

blue - white is a nice combo imo :)

according to gmail maps its about 55 mins or so, I was down at the Henry Ford Museum the other day and it took me around 40 mins to get there so it sounds accurate

I work right in dearborn, and my Ford building is like 1 min away from Henry Ford. So maybe 50min tops to my house. Do you know of any other guys in Michigan? I saw a stock Orange MSP at a Roush building by me.

if you look in the MI section here there are a bunch of guys but I dont know any of them, do you autox? if so you will see me there if you are going to any of the SCCA detroit regions
