(help) (blackp5)

1. Take out the stock airbox (the black plastic parts)
2. Set aside the airflow sensors(the parts that have electronic hookups)

All you are doing is replacing that setup.
The curved rubber boot goes on first, then the first pipe, then mass airflow, then 2nd pipe, then filter. Be sure to use the hose clamps.

If its a Short Ram Intake (SRI) it should look something like this.

It may look like this if its a Cold Air Intake (CAI)

EDIT: I should have checked your link first before posting all the Pictures.

You have the SRI

Remove your entire air box and all the plastic tubing.

From the engine at the back install the rubber elbow then the straight tube then the MAF (Black plastic piece from the car)then the curved tube then the air filter.

How did you secure the SRI ? zipties? Pics?

In my 3rd picture down you can see where I bent a bracket and used the bolt next to the battery and used a factory mounting hole on the MAF.

Hey Redneck... you're P5 looks SOOOOOO sweet under the hood! Tell me who, what, where your stuff comes from! Love the braiding, oil cap, all of it...
Hoping to do something similar, bit by bit. So far just the Injen CAI... in polished. Wish I had gone black instead. (drive)

Thanks,

To keep this on topic I'll just post my cardomain and send you a PM http://www.cardomain.com/profile/rednecks_r_us

now back to your regularly scheduled topic. ;)

You are going to need to bend the long flat metal peice and bolt it down in the already existing hole. Hope these pics help.
