Hey Forum,
I was looking at a set of H&R but most of you have Eibachs. Any of you with H&R? Are these any good? Whats the reputation on H&R? If any of you have installed these springs, do you mind posting a photo of the drop?

Thanks in advance,

H&R springs have been around for a long time. The shop that put mine on for me used them on BMW, Porsche, Merc, etc. Very good quality. On a 3 it will give you about a 1.5" drop with improved handling and still a comfortable ride.

Thanks for your fast reply. By the photos I like the drop. My main concern is the ride quality and confortable ride. Is it bumpy? Have you had any problems with rubbing when you encounter speed bumps? I carry a lot of passengers and music gig equipment and I dont want the rear to suffer. Is it a good idea to get springs in the first place?

Thanks, just a question for the pros

The ride quality is very good. It is firmer than stock but not bouncy- harsh. Last march I went on a 900 mi. trip and found the 3 to be a great road car. very comfortable. I had 4 adults in my car recently and had no problems with rubbing. The front spoiler lip under the bumper can be scraped on steep drive ways. Speed bumps have never been a problem for me. The same info would also go for Eibach Pro springs. The drop is similar. I think that the H&R would be a good drop for most people. The pics are H&R and the gray Eibach.
