Cost to Paint CF Hood

Still miss my MSP...
:
2003.5 MSP Sunlight Silver
Hey, just wondering what is cost those of you that painted the sides of your CF hood. I have a sunlight silver so I'm betting its one of the easier cheaper colors as opposed to something like sunlight silver or spicy orange (if those kind of things change the price at all) anyways, just looking to see what i should expect to pay.

in my view its not worth it. i would first put the hood on if you havnt done so and see how you like it since you can now see it up close and in person and all that, and after a few days of looking at it and having it on and all that if you still wanna paint the sides go for it.

I painted the middle of the CF hood (Black mica), and left the sides with the CF V-weave. It was $400. I did it because of some problems I had with the hood clear coat, but I really like it.

Its at a friends body shop and I don't have to pay that much because I'm getting it at his price. That is how much it cost to go buy it retail.

I forget what its exactly called but I have seen the finished product. A 2003 Mustang with tribal flames and I couldn't feel where the flames transitioned onto the body color.

I get to learn how to do the prep work. John is going to paint my car for free I just have to buy all the paint and help him with the prep work. I will have it done by October to be in the Hot Import Nights in Phoenix, Az.

OK lets get back on topic :D
