Comparing stock vs modded isn't a comparison that can be used in most cases. Cause in the end take the money you spent towards the 3 and put in a SRT and the SRT will be ahead again.

Looks though is a personal issue and opinion, some may like it others may not. Some may hate the way a 3 looks, others may not.

But in the end performance vs performance either modvs mod or stock vs stock, the SRT will beat out the 3. No doubts in either department.

Again have to mention it doesn't knock the 3 in anyway. It fills its niche in the market quite well. But in the realm of performance is isn't there, though can be. But hey a Yugo can be fast, therefore why don't we start comparing that? Its a endless circle....

Not true. You are looking to pay AT LEAST 23k for a BASE STOCK SRT-4 out the door with tax title and reg. Now, out the door with my 3 I paid like 18500. Now the hiboost is 4200, which brings out car to 22700, then some forged rods and injectors bring our car to about 24k done! And, that then brings us to 10 psi pushing more HP AND more TQ throughout the power-band. SOOooo, to me that would mean that our 3's are actually on par with their SRTs. Don't get me? Don't care.
Also, I'm not trying to diss your neon, although it may seem that way. Its just that I take much pride in the Mazda 3 and when people start saying the SRT is better then thje mazda, I just have to explaine why its not.

oh and get this, you will also pay $22k or less for a FULLY LOADED srt-4, they only come in one trim package unless you want an ACR
and dont forget, a $15 home depot boost controller on an srt-4 would kick the s*** out of your highboost
