WHo is making the ww hoods now? I need a rain guard. Please help!

Hmmm, might be kind of hard to get ahold of them right now with the changes over at WW going on. I could possibly make you some, but I don't have the material that they use for the original ones (clear lexan, roughly 1/8" thick). I could try to source some and come up with a price estimate if you are interested.

Or... If you want to try and make some yourself, I could make you a stencil or something.

home depot right. I tried to make one today I just dont have the tools. I got like 3 hours into it after cracking 3 pieces of plexiglass. Then when drilling my 9th hold I cracked It again and got fed up.

Are you sure the VIS cover will bolt on to the WW hood? I haven't seen the underside of the VIS, so I can't say one way or the other.

no but i have spent alot more on trying tro make a part then buy this for roughly 35 shipped and have a great base to start with

What is a rain guard? If it covers the holes on the hood, do you have to keep adding and removing it with the weather?

I guess thats the nice thing about building your own extractor hood, The water lines up with... Nothing under the hood and hits the ground...

i am looking for the same thing i have emailed VIS, WW and Carbon1 about the mesh (dont have the mesh either) and the rain guard and have yet to hear back form any of them even though i only emailed vis tonight. I have been looking at some EVO VIII's latly and notice they use a louvre system that directs the water away from the engine and electronics parts i am hopeing i can make something like that.
