is there a way to smoke out my tail lights?

While I really like all the clear on your car, I think it'll look even better if you smoke all the lenses - it'll definitely give your car a more aggressive look. I ended up not using the second set of clear lenses - I got the overlays for the sidemarkers and taillights from bluebatmobile instead. (That way, if the cops have an issue with the darkened lenses, it's a lot easier to get rid of than trying to remove the spray on tint.)

it may be just a bit easier but not too too much... all you need to remove this stuff (depending on if you use clear coat) is rubbing alcohol and some polish. I had everything on my car (sidemarkers, quarters, tails, fogs) tinted. the fogs were with overlays but that was only because I was too lazy to take out the fogs

I even had the car inspected by Mazda for the state inspection and they said it was fine and even complimented me on the look (rofl2)

Not to get off track or anything, but is it illegal to smoke your headlamps? Even a little bit? I imagine its the same thing as the Black-Outs some of the older Cameros and Sport trucks put on their headlamps during the day and then have to have off at night.

The only reason I ask is because if I smoke out my tail lamps, I think it would look stupid if I don't do the corner lens and headlamps (if I can) as well.

So then what would be the best thing to use? Would Nite Shades be too much? Think maybe a tint place would do all my lamps?

yea its over stock lights... i wanted it that dark you can avary it by how many coats.
