grill emblem

just wonderin if any 1 could help me out...is it possible to take off the m emblem on the grill and put a black one in? and if soo where can i find a new emblem?

Just pull the grill off, mask it really well with masking tape and spray like 3 coats of black spray paint on the emblem. It took about 20 mintutes to mask it and get the first coat on, then I'd keep coming back to add a coat. easy stuff.

I did that, used a hair dryer to take off the front and back emblems and painted them gun metal. Using the hair dryer makes it really easy to take it off.

afrey where did u get that sticker near the lower grill the mazda speed one?

I painted mine as well. pic with my image link... used a bottle of touch of paint. just roughed it up with 600 grit and applied.

I got the sticker at a Mazda meet in july, I think you can find them through Mazdaspeed, I believe they sent me a set when I bought the cams, not sure though...

you can get the emblem off with a hairdrier and then sand it with fine grit sandpaper,use at least two coats of a good primer and then paint it whatever color, then spray a couple of layers of clearcoat on it. This will keep you emblem from chipping from sand and crap from the road. I did the opposite, I painted mine red.
