After having to wait for a month, today I FINALLY got to pick up the puppy I've adopted!
She's a little over three months old, and a mix of German Shepherd and Husky. She's so well-behaved -- almost too much so. The agency I adopted her from said that she was picked on by some older pups while she was at the shelter, so she's very quick to duck down and show her belly whenever someone comes over to her. I'm actually having trouble walking her, since she just plops down as soon as you take her outside. But hopefully that'll get better as she adjusts and my house becomes 'home'. I decided to name her Mia (pronounced Mee-ah) as she was already kinda-named Missy -- I definitely wasn't about that name, but wanted to find something similar that I DID like so she'd adjust quickly.
Only had the time to take one good pic, but I'll get some more up as she loosens up in her new home.
