OK im getting the GHL exhaust sent out next week and i was wondering if theres any tips or tricks for the S pipe, the J pipe back i can figure out, thats not hard, but is there anything i should know about the S pipe. like do i have to remove turbo...etc

radiator, ic pipe, exhaust manifold, heatsheild o2 egr all that s***, oil and coolant lines, the tricky part is getting the nuts off the actual spipe took alot of work to do it.

when I pulled out my stock turbo it was easiest to just take the manifold and turbo out as one peice, then change s-pipes and drop it back in. It is not that hard to un bolt everything should only take about an hour. No oil should leak out of the lines but you will probably have to refill your coolant since you have to disconnect the coolant lines coming from the turbo that go into the motor.

I just installed the iON turbo-back exhaust 2 weekends ago. I took the fans, radiator, piping and all out. Then I removed the exhaust manifold and turbo. I enclosed a couple pics for you. BE CAREFUL when you remove and install the old and new downpipe. I broke off 2 studs. I don't think Mazda or Callaway or whoever put the pieces together used any anti-sieze compound on it. Anyway, with the exception of that, it wasn't too hard. Good luck to you.
