But seriously guys.. I know a lot of people on here have hotmail and a lot of people use paypal... I just got a phish scam today that was VERY sophisticated and well done. This email is fake and NOT from paypal, do NOT enter information into the link provided... take a look at the image attached below.

Pdh... you just pull that from those addresses in the images??

That was one of the most convincing and accurate ones I've seen... hence my posting it up... especially with how many people on here use paypal and all my customers who have paypalled me as well. Didn't come to my business email though... just to my personal paypal account.

paypail will NEVER email you asking for you to give them your user id and pw....never. In fact, im pretty sure when you sign up they tell you that.

EXACTLY...in fact if you log into your account there is a link to tell you about these scams....

the FIRST and biggest give away that this is a SCAM....the very first sentence..or greeting. they used your email address....if you read the warning at paypal....they tell you right out first thing that any and all email they send you will greet you by using your actual name...which is part of the information you gave them when you registered....the next thing is that ALL paypal email needing you to do anything with your account will NEVER have a link in it...insted it will ask you to go to www.paypal.com and log into your account. then go from there.

but some people just refuse to read the fine print...and fall for this crap...and get ripped off left and right.
