Pics, Grill and Celica lights....

here are some pics i wanted to post for awhile. i painted both grills. there is some chipping because i didnt use a clear coat. also i finally got my car back and decided to do the clear side markers. i used the celica ones and they fit fine. there is a slight gap but you cant really notice it from afar.

did you use something to hold the lens in the middle to rid of the gap? I to have the lenses for my black PR5 and I thought the gap was way to much. I'm looking into making a rubber gromment to sandwich between the bumper and the lens.

you know what, thats not a bad idea. i didnt think the gap was too bad, and i doubt water will get in there to much. but it wont hurt to have something seal it up. i went to a shop to buy them and they put them in for me, but looking underneath there i think they drilled to fasten it.

Unlike our stock lenses the celica ones dont have lips in the middle to allow it to 'snap' into place. I can get a good fit on each side... it's the middle that looks bad IMO. I have no way of holding that into the bumper. Can you show me a close up looking down on the lens??

BTW, the rest looks GREAT! keep up the good work!

i will try tomorrow to get a pic of top down. i know i can see a little bit of silver.

white on red....... hmmmmmm.. i dont know man! photoshop it first! but then again i have seen a red civic with a red and white motiff, and it looked pretty good.

yet black and red go together real well in my opinion.
