Some of you know we rolled the car. Here are some interesting pics of it during its reincarnation.

Was there any damage to the sub-frame?
 
No, sorry. All that work wasn't done in just one week. This picture was taken some time ago.

The cage and seam-welded shell limited damage, even though we went over 3 times at a pretty high speed. Luckily, no trees.

The front end needed a minor tug, but now is completely straight and reinforced.

Wow, that's interesting. Where do you get all the replacement panels? That looks like a ton of work!

The panels came from Mazda. And yes, it was a ton of work! :)
 
Here's what it looked like after the rollover. Luckily, it landed on its wheels so we could continue, but the time lost cost us the Group 2 championship in 03.

We'll be debuting a revised graphics scheme at Maine on the new body.

Our car is very competitive in the Group 2 class, a class for NA 2 liter 2wd cars. The sport 20 drivetrain would move it to Open class where one would need 400hp to be competitive, and the sport 20 pieces wouldn't even last a mile of that abuse.

To go 4wd would be a custom job front to back. Not a hard job, but a $300,000 one.
