Did you ever end up using the Purolator air filter? If so, how was the performance of your car?

Who makes the air filters for Mazda? Like for Toyota, they are made by Denso.

So, the Fram CA11259 or XGA1259 sold by Amazon and Walmart, does anyone have experience using them on their CX-5 2.5 NA engine? Just wondering if performance is equivalent to the Mazda air filter.
